Rocky Mount government and social services agency seek to raise awareness of child abuse prevention

Franklin County’s Department of Social Services office held a special event for the community recently creating community awareness of child abuse prevention.

Rocky Mount Mayor Holland Perdue attended the event and read to the attendees and to the staff of DSS, the Town of Rocky Mount’s Resolution 2023.005 Proclaiming April as National Child Abuse Prevention Month. The mayor gave the FCDSS a framed copy of this proclamation.
